Wouldn't hurt to turn the Air/Fuel mix 1/2 turn to counter-clockwise and see how it does. His very well could be jetted differently. I would try that frist because it's quick and you can always turn it right back. And yes, most all china scoots are set lean as so to pass Cal. Emissions. I'm actually gunna try this first turning the a/f screw to see if it makes a difference |

All the t3's I have rebuilt had 44mm pistons 63cc So I wounder if the jetting is the problem then. I'm gunna change carb with a better one and bigger jet and see how it goes. |

From my understanding the carbs on these things are jetted extremely lean could this also be the issue? He has replaced his carb I have not yet.

I'm gunna play with it and see cause like I said off the line I get him by a good amount but in the long run he will catch me I was thinking my main jet might be ro small?

From take off I'm quit a bit faster but top end lime stated he walks away its like I hit a certian point and loose power

Yes, also more so if where you live it got colder, colder temps require more fuel, so I would say go up on your MAIN JET only. Alleyoop Any idea what a good size would be I'm not really sure what it comes with I'm still learning iv had the scooter for about 3 weeks its my first one. |

EDIT I just went for a short ride and 1/2 theottle actully feels smoother and a few more mph faster than WOT I'm kinda lost lol.

Ok fellas got a stupid qustion for you I'm pretty new to the scoot scene I own a 2013 taotao cy50t3 when I'm at wot I see no dif than when I'm at half throttle I'm thinking the jets in the carb are to small does this sound right?

Just checking in I took the carb apart pulled the plug and cleaned it and adjusted the valves and bang she's back  thank you.. |
