Chris, did you let the scooter warm up first?- (5 min's or or longer at that temperate ) You have an enricher (kinda like a auto choke) this will allow more fuel in, idle faster as so that it can warm up. You might want to let it warm up real good. In this kinda super cold we are having it's not going to be ideal for our scooters and if there is any Water in the tank, then you might have a fuel delivery problem. --- Me, i pulled my Battrey out for a few days (was -10 below and -29 wind chill) Chris, ya got a snowmobile? <--- just kiddin ---> well kinda. Lol I'm gunna need one soon haha.. but on the scooter I always make sure its warmed up enricher is def off I always do a wot run for about 10 min befor adjuating and it seems lime no matter where I set it it has a slight sputter its not terribly bad but its noticeable it is a little power loss and then once it gets past that its fine

Little update fellas believe it or not I drilled the plug out of the way of my a/f mixture screw gave it a full turn counter-clockwise. adjusted idle speed screw, went for a ride a Walla I'm staying right with him. Could someone explain how this worked? Lol It's like this.. Scoots are built with an 'Average' or estimated jetting and A/F setting for the U.S.. So if you live high or low altitude..adjustment IS needed! The manufacturers have no clue whether you will be riding at sea level in Florida..the mountains of West Virginia...or the high elevations of Colorado etc.. Also they tend to use whatever they have on hand when building them. A good example...one connector in your harness has..say a red..yellow blue and green wire..but it plugs into a white..brown orange and pink connector. Why?? It is what wire they hand on hand..so they used it. One reason wiring issues can be confusing. make sense now?.. That should clear it up for ya.. Much thanks sir. Just in this one thread I have learned so much about my bike and I know I have a lot more to learn. Thanks again fellas

I use 3 - 5 gram Dr.pulley sliders and 3 - 7 gram to make 6 Gram. on 1500rpm clutch springs and a bando belt . I'm 125 Lbs and no riders. and i do better then most. do you stagger them like do one 5g and then a 7g and then another 5g etc?

I was thinking the same thing but figured I would ask. what about taking one or two out I know it sounds stupid but this is how I learn lol . I would suggest buying a roller weight kit. It comes with a variety of diffents weights so you can tune it for your weights and riding conditions. Sounds goodoso then this is where I will start thanks for all the help fellas I see myself hanging around picking up knowledge and maybe helping someone else out that is as scooter stupid as me lol.

Taking half of your rollers out isn't going to get you where you want to be. By reducing the weight that much it will rev high and lose top speed. I was thinking the same thing but figured I would ask. what about taking one or two out I know it sounds stupid but this is how I learn lol

well let me ask you this if the wheels are causing more load then it seems I would need to rev higher to gain the speed that I am wanting what size rollers should I go with? Also I am thinking a bbk will be my friend in the near future but for now I just want to semi keep up lol.

You can get the a/f mixture right but I'm sure the results will be the same when trying to keep up on the long stretches. If it really bothers you that he is faster (my ego is wired that way) then you can budget build to beat him. Well that is if you're a wrencher. For 100-120 you'll be able to beat him with ease. It also never hurts to have the extra power to get out of bad situations. It drives me crazy lol my ego is insane haha and what is this build yo speak of lol I'm guessing bbk?

All the t3's I have rebuilt had 44mm pistons 63cc And I'd bet the bank Mr. Mills is right about your buddy's scooter, he's been around the block a few times. (no bad pun intended mills) [Smile] Lol well I looked by the shock on the back of my engine case and can not find a stamp I can't find it on his either. I'm starting to think I'm running a lot leaner than him so that's where I will start. I hope its that simple lol
