Are they real Dr. Pulley? They are supposed to last many times longer than the 12,000 mile OEM rollers in the name brand bikes so at 4,600 miles they may be barely broken in. Are these 12,000 mile rollers available in 16x13? My Dr. Pulleys looked fair after having them not even a year. Maybe it's my scooter or variator at the time, but I don't see the Dr Pulleys I had lasting even close to 12,000 miles.

I would normally be working, but asked for it off. I paid someone $50 last year to work for me on the 4th!

I would say what I call my scoots , but this is a family friendly forum... My scooter doesn't have a name, but it has many names when it's not running!

Lol, that reminds of those "vests" that Phantom Fireworks sells, or used to, for dogs. Supposedly they kept them calm... Lol.

Those v-guides are annoying. They're all good one minute, and then the next time you pop off the variator they're cracked or half gone, possibly with damage to the variator. It's to the point to where I'm afraid to even ride more than 2-3 weeks between checkups for those things. So u sometimes have this problem , imagine ever 30 to 60 miles and they all are split , lol . Hopefully I'll figure it out . That'd drive me nuts!!! I do have a few spare, and that reminds me I need to order more. The ones that I have now didn't fit that good on my last variator(on the older engine).

Wow, my rpms were ridiculously high when my belt wore down to just 13-14 or so millimeters (if even that low TBH). Hope all goes well! I actually think mine was closer to 14-15mm wide before my rpms were way higher than normal and wasn't at the previous top speeds. Your rpms will def rise as the belt wears . Even 13 to 14 mm is really low " of course I'm use to the Kevlar belts" I never let mine wear that low . It was my original belt on the scooter when I first bought it (used from I guy I worked with, with about 250 on odometer). It was a Gates, but I didn't know much about this scooter at all back then. No way would I let it get that thin now. I can't remember what mileage I wound up with on that belt, so long ago... lol. EDIT: A matter of fact, I think I still have that belt hanging around in my garage somewhere.

Put a new rear shock on my scoot today (testedscooterparts john), and makes a satisfying difference I would say--- considering I haven't done that since I've had this thing.

Maybe double check, my stator on my new engine didn't have a ground wired in the connecting piece that mates with the the wire harness. I blew my headlights and almost blew my dash.
