[replyingto=scootdoggydog]scootdoggydog[/replyingto]17 volts at the battery? YIKES!!! You are going to ruin that battery in short order with that high of a charging voltage. Get a new regulator!

[replyingto=rockynv]rockynv[/replyingto]Anything to improve your chances of being seen is helpful. I have a friend who just added a string of flashing red LEDs to the back of his helmet and I saw a fellow on a Harley a couple of nights ago with flashing LEDs on the back of his Lime Green high visibility vest.

[replyingto=tarkus]tarkus[/replyingto]Is it the trunk that rattles or the cargo inside? My trunk does not rattle and I lined my trunk with 1/4 inch foam....perfectly quiet.

[replyingto=redroush00]redroush00[/replyingto]I just wash the flat black plastic with a mild detergent solution and keep my cover on the scoot when not being used. I also usually keep the scoot under the carport when I m not riding.

[replyingto=redroush00]redroush00[/replyingto]How about fabricating a thin neoprene gasket. You can get the material at any auto parts store for a couple of bucks and you won't have the messy silicone to fool with any time you access the battery?
