Does anyone happen to know the size belt used on a 2012 Tomos Twister 50 scoot? Also any recommendations on the best manufacturer os such a belt would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any input.

sailracer, Thanks for the compliment on my new Tomos. I like your idea of painting only the lid on my trunk and thanks for the info on ACE Hardware for the paint. The new scoot does handle quite nicely with the 16 inch wheels. BTW your "other ride" looks to be quite nice. This is my other ride  |

I just got the trunk and I am trying to find a good color match in spray can. So far I have looked at both Krylon Fusion and Rustoleum but cant seem to get a good close color match. Any suggestions?

Does anyone have a table of safe torque specs for the low grade metric bolts typically found on Chinese scooters?

I am just curious as to what the MAXIMUM charging current (amps) is on a TYPICAL 50 cc Chinese 4 stroke scooter. My scooter is charging fine and I have a Battery Tender Junior capable of putting out a max of 750 milliamps which I use whenever th scooter will sit idle for several days or more.

Scooters Express/Prismaus in Waldorf, Maryland NEVER answered any email I sent to them. I would never do business with someone who can't be bothered with a quick email reply. As a result I purchased my scoot from Rockville Motor Sports in Takoma Park, Maryland. They seem to value their customers and the service I received was excellent. I spent my hard earned money (well in excess of $2K) where it was appreciated. I speak with my wallet.
