If you see spark it would at least try, especially with starter fluid. You have gas flowing if you plug is even the slightest bit wet. Next is compression. First tings first, check your valves lash clearance. They both should be around. 003-.005 with the exhaust slightly open more than the intake. they need to be al least .001 +,- to each other. Once thats done take your plug out and put your finger over the hole and crank it with the electric start. Unless you have super strength compression should push past your finger. If not you can pin point your problem to being in the head or cylinder area. The does the clicking noise only happen while using the electric starter or while it was running to? Your transmission(Variator, belt, and clutch) have nothing to do with the bike running. You could remove all 3 and still have it run. Also, the teeth on the drive face are only for the electric starter, If they were damaged is a 99% chance your starter bendix it damaged too. The electric starter spins the bendix which spins the drive face witch is connected to the crankshaft that spins with the engine. If there is a problem this and poorly adjusted valves will cause a no start. Bad adjustment causes hard starts and poor running and dying at lights. Poor starting + a weakened start due to whatever is going on in the cvt would deff cause a no start.

Had this same problem, cleaned carb, checked everything, rebuilt engine, I swapped out the carb and the problem disappeared. The problem occurred suddenly like yours did only not while riding. Still don't know what happened it, and really don't care.

If your valves are set good and you have to take it apart and inspect. Somethings leaking compression

Sounds like a problem is you not getting fuel or have a problem with your intake manifold or vacuum lines.

You didn't offend me. I believe you. Everytime I say I go over everyone's average speeds The same thing happens. I've just learned to ignore it, and remember the reason why i'm here in the first place
Nice bike btw

Think cold air intake mod. Thats kind of what the night does. All depends on the quality and temp of the air. Sometimes its about just about as hot at night as it is a day, sometimes its a winter summer difference. If I were you, I would stop trying to prove something in which your obviously confident about to people online, and worry more about tickets and safety. Not all speed traps have camera's. Some are simply to see if they need to regulate the area better and alert you of your speed, so in essence you could be bringing more attention to the area. Lol , this is the part I hate , and I'm not beig an a-s . Please read what I posted after that " alley knew what I meant when I said matters , I meant " alley posted about doing the run at night like it doent count " an excuse . I didn't know that it mattered that I ran my scoot at night . It's not cheating to run at night is it ? But he made it sound like I " wasn't worth my salt , like I just learned something new " lol . Then people pick up on it and try to teach you something that is common sense to most on hear . No offense to you , this is just a product of the ignorance . Lol, sorry wasn't trying to raise your blood pressure, I thought you didn't understand what he meant so I tried to explain. And i'm simply saying that if you know then why do you feel the need to prove it to everybody? Satisfaction ? I really don't care to reply to this post anymore. Its straight drama. I simply came to check out the video and your configuration for learning and brainstorming purposes. This post is clearly going off topic...

I didn't think daytime or night time mattered ? Hills matter but now it's "nighttime dosent count " lol . And yes I am going to post a new daytime vid . Also 10 mph from a decline like that will not happen . Maybe a mile long very steep hill . I gained 6 mph from this decline . I was only expecting a 3 mph gain . Think cold air intake mod. Thats kind of what the night does. All depends on the quality and temp of the air. Sometimes its about just about as hot at night as it is a day, sometimes its a winter summer difference. Sounds as if the vacuum is to low to supply the gas. Try letting it idle for secs before you cut it off after a run and see if it does anything. Do you ever get a popping sound? Check your plug to see if its been running lean.

Looks as if you start going flat around 39 secs. No sound in video btw.. sometimes it looksas if your going flat but are really going up ot down a gradual decline.
