I finally have a video of my scoot hitting 68mph on a straight run . After I break the top of the hill the road level off and I have about a half mile or so until the radar sign . This is one of the two radar signs near my home . The road begins to decline a little after the sign . Well here is my 58.5 bbk and 32mm pumper carb plus other mods in action .

My rpms are actually a little low , I was only hitting between 7000 and 7200 rpms . I like to be closer to 7500 rpms .

Had a stock 150 do 72 downhill and 65-66 flat 65 is quite fast for a stock 150 , was your speedo acurate ? I believe itd may be possible with a well tuned cvt and a 100 lbs rider other then that I expect an inaccurate speedo . I ran into a guy with a wildfire 150 today , wow that scoot was small . It had 10 inch wheels and was on a 50cc frame . He said his went about 70mph and after I told him that mine with all the mods went that fast he mentioned his speedo Is probably off . " which I'm sure it was .

All most motorcycle and scooter speedometers are of by 8 to 10 %.

No good downhill don't count BRO, that was a downhill run, obvious really you can tell plain as day your going downhill, the horizion, the traffic you can see coming over the ridge. That motor I would say was doing maybe 7000 rpms, it picked up a little going down the hill I heard it change.

Lol , the rpms rising was me giving it full throttle as I broke the top of the hill . I'll make another run and straighten out the iPhone , it was slightly pointed up which did make it look like a slight decline . I promise it wasn't , I does start to decline right after the sign . You'll see in the next vid . If it were a decline I would have broke 70mph .

Looks as if you start going flat around 39 secs. No sound in video btw.. sometimes it looksas if your going flat but are really going up ot down a gradual decline.

38 mph over the posted and over double hopefully there was not a speed camera in there. That could garner a $500 ticket and quite a few ticks on your insurance rate if they caught you. In many areas around here you could find a ticket in the mail in a few weeks or so.
