I ordered a bbk for 50cc gy6 and the intake valve was bent so the guy I purchased from sent me a replacement intake valve and I guess I have to install it. I can't find any how to's online. Anyone done this before or know how to? Thanks!

Weird question? Maybe, but when I set the valve spacing and rotate the flywheel I notice the intake valve and rocker arm do not stay together. I do have the cam set in the correct position before adjusting. I rotated the flywheel and the rocker arm did not stay with the valve and then the valve popped back up and actually broke the rocker arm. I am thinking it is out of time, however, all the marks line up including the flywheel and the cam. I recently did and top end rebuild and I am thinking that when I put the cam back in I used the flywheel marks and now I am beginning to think the flywheel is out of time. But I looked into the spark plug hole and could see the piston at the top of the case. I am lost for words I have so many hours into the thing. Any ideas
Thank you so much

The stator was not in time at top dead center I took the valve cover off and found that out so tomorrow I'm going to put it back together and hope it works. Thanks for the help

No I understand thank you for the reply. IM sure I am doing this right, lining the T mark up with the, not sure what it called but the small part sticking out there that'scircled,. I did just that, could it b that the stator was removed and the plate was not put on correctly because I know that it can't b in time. Thank you very much for the help

Hello, I recently installed a big bore kit on.net little http. I put the cam intime before taking it apart. However afte Ir reinstall it I noticed that the stair was out of time with the cam so I adjusted the cam to match the stator. Well the stair was the one off time so now I'm not sure how to get the cam in time with no guide marks. Would this b why my motor is binding also because before I messed with the cam it was turning over now the starter can barely move the motor. Thanks

The kit came with rocker arms for 69mm valves, but I'm pretty sure mine are 64mm is there a way to measure my stock valves if so how?

Ok I do have the stock jet in. Does the bigger bore cause it to click a little louder. I'm afraid the cam is off time but I have it set perfectly with the stator tick marks. Is their anyway for that to be off if I never had to take the magneto off?

I reassembled correctly it will sputter but never fully start. Can I measure with a ruler? Before I took it apart I put the cam in timing which I know was right because I have adjusted the valves and it came out correctly. I never checked the stator timing before took it apart so I'm not sure if those ticks were ever right when it came out of the factory. Anyway with out the tick marks to get it in time?
Thanks

Installed big bore, kit and now my timing is off. I thought for sure I left the piston perfect and installed cam back with holes lined up. Thrived to start it and it was ticking so I checked stator timing and it and the Sam were off so one of them is off. Another thought I may have the 69 mm valves and have the 64's installed either way I believe the stator t mak is not right and now my cam is off. Firsthand things first any way to get the cam in time? Thanks
