Me and my scoot are 1. If she ain't feel in' it: I ain't feel in' it. The slightest variation in performance and I am bending her over....lol
Edit: If that was my bike I would have knocked dudes head off and spun-out on his face.

One minute I see the Rover sideways; the next only the roofing with ladders taking up half the window. One could try resizing and rotating the pic. He**, if I am the only one complaining; forget about it....lol

These things are dangerous enough without pushing the limits. What are these people thinking and/or on? "I got a BBK!: Hence I will kill myself and put others in danger!"

If the air intake is covered say 1/2 to 3/4 does the engine run better? Blocking most air intake? I don't know. I didn't try that. It ran great but just could not stay running, as though it had run out of gas. Having to wait before starting it again was a clue that it might be flooding. Maybe it is a cheap/effortless way to tell if it is running lean or rich? May be worth a stab....

Just curious: If stock works; why aftermarket?

Congratulations: You lived. Usually I end up sore as and in hospital or out of pocket; or both. BTW: What is that pictured in your sig? I cannot make it out for the life of me and it takes up half the browser....

4T. It did the smoke thing before I changed the piston, jug and head. Thought it might be misaligned rings prior to BBK install. I will pull it apart in a couple hundred miles and check ring alignment but am pretty sure it is close. If it is a little oil slipping past cold rings I think I am OK as my reasoning leads me to believe that this will decrease friction.... Any ideas? LOL it does smoke like a cold 2T.
Edit: I'll take a vidia and post it inna few.

Pulled the 25,000 mi. (63cc) engine on Peanut and installed an adopted one with 5,000 mi. Upgraded it to 72cc, new powerlink belt, knockoff stock china variator (Kosos don't work here) rollers, new clutch (other was bent ? = lol) and new tires. Seems to smoke a bit when warming up... maybe rings need to seat? After warm-up it's off to the breeze. Runs great, too (after playing with carb needle). Thanks, Scooter. Without the people here; I would still be chipping wheels of granite (changing the rubber ones is enough work in itself).

@ rcq92130: Gotcha. The cam was burned the same color as the wrist-pin as well as the cam-to-head-seats. Simply stated: it was overheated and abused. The main point was to make one aware of a possible error when installing a head....(with pic showing possible outcome). I am sure it wasn't the first time sealant has caused overheating. Those passages are there for a reason, eh? Thanks

Concur with above. At OP: When you installed the BBK, was there any silicone or other sealant(s) used? Reason why I ask is because I just installed a 72cc BBK on a rescue moped w/5000 mi. When I removed original jug I noticed that whoever had worked on it before had used a sealer about the gaskets (which is another issue in itself) and when torqued down had oozed into the oil path; thereby stopping the flow of oil completely. When I pulled the wrist-pin from the piston, it had some.... Well, here's a pic (been enhaced to show stuff) The main blockage was in the engine case itself = DANGER....BOOM! LOL
