Remember you're not working on a motor which has a lot of meat for boring & stroking. I had the same problem and tried a few things, just a waste of money and time. After the 50cc was a 150cc but it just isn't made for WOT. Now I've got a 250cc Helix and it is over 5 times better, believe me and I can maintain66 t0 60 all day if I want to. I've already got my eyes on a 400cc Bergman, I should have never driven that one, my o my! ;D ;D

Remember when trailering your scooter, bike, cycle or other freight YOU CAN STOP FASTER THAN ACCELERATE In other words whether an avoidance of or an actual accident you FREIGHT can come forward. I hauled machinery of all kinds for over 3.5 million miles. Alway secure freight so that you or in the case of trailering your vehicle would be safer in a sudden stop . Everybody worries about it fallng off of the back but don't think of sudden impacts & etc. GOOD TRAILERING and HAPPY SCOOTIN Peaceful

Well an engine only needs 3 things to run, spark, gas, air. All you'e got to do is get them there at the right time..

You know what you want, afford and etc. Go see it, try it and offer them less money and see what happens. I just bought a Helix and offered 500 less than what he was asking and he said ok. Play it lke the pawn kings act interested and tell him all of the faults you see and how much to fix. You can do it.

:)Sort of new to scootin. Started out in the 50's with a Cushman Eagle, my friend had a Whizzer motor bike. Jump ahead about 15 yrs and went with a couple of 100 & a125 cc's. Honda Dream in a 305, White single cyl 2 cycle with an expansion chamber and set up for flat tracking. Then a couple of 49cc Chinese, a 150 cc and now a 2000- 250 Helix resurrected out of a shed and had it running in about 2 hours. Took it on its maiden ride last Sunday (Father's Day) and did a quick peaceful 135 miles on it. I've got everything working except turn signals. That is the next project on this scooter. Oh by the way it was a free scooter, just for getting it out of the way. I had to buy a battery though, LOL. Living in Western MI near Lk Mi I'll be riding this daily until it is to cold. Also I'm 75 and am quite happy just going 65 & 70 mph now days.
