If you are worried about to much oil in head you could either do the restrictor or tap into the high pressure side of the case and run an oil cooler that runs the oil back into the case. This would lower the pressure slightly and amount of oil going to head, you could just skip the cooler and run a direct line, but cooler is always better.

I've seen some people run them at some pretty ridiculous angles but as an exact number I have no clue.
I will be running mine without shrouds or fan, if you are not going to run the fan, removing the shrouds will allow for greater airflow.
I haven't done my 63mm yet but If done properly I don't see why they would be. People run the 67mm with the B cases and 8.2mm stroker cranks for a nice 232cc. I would say invest in a decent kit though, not the 50$ ebay special, then it becomes " you get what you pay for".
The Yoshimura systems sound good and aren't too loud. Look up some clips on youtube for ideas.

Bad Stator?

That's what I though, thank you for confirming my thoughts. Does the 11 pole work on the same flywheel or would I need a different one? Running a 6 right now, but the 8 pole I have won't fit.

Bad Stator?

I' am working on my project and went to try and start it up today and had a problem.
The other day I had it wired up and I had spark as I turned the motor over. I have it hooked up to a battery charger as the batter I am currently using is bad. Today when I hooked everything up the same and went to try not only did I not have spark but The yellow and green wire coming from the stator got very hot, had smoke coming out from behind the stator cover " flywheel".
now I was grinding on the frame a lot and noticed alot of metal shavings around the pickup, there was quite a bit on the magnets of the stator cover and some on the starter.
I am going with a bad stator.. any other suggestions of why this happened?

Also what is the connection on the back of the carb for? And can I use the screw to tune the power jet or does that simply hold it in?

Yes it was ordered from you, I ordered the 30mm but you had this in stock. Black would have been cool. But thanks for the help, great carb, and the fast shipping.

There is the line coming from the top of the opening of the carb to the bowl which I have no idea what it is/does then the one on the back which I am taking is a vacuum line?

I am still deciding on colors. If I paint the frame black I can do it with VHT roll bar paint, stuff goes on so good and is pretty scratch resistant. If I go orange I will more than likely have it powder coated. Wheels- black, front caliper- orange forks-black. I was thinking white frame but I think with the orange, black and small pieces of blue here and there it will be too much.
Im going for a very old school hotrod look. All go/no show. As my painting and some welds and other pieces aren't the prettiest. This will be something I take out for fun when I just need to get out and ride so thats why I am going to spend 80% of my money into the motor.

That folder is private as I have used it for other things in the past and my girlfriends uses it as well sometimes. I went ahead and made a new folder and will use this one from here on out. Im getting excited as its coming together but at this point i need the tank before I can do any more fab. The seat is a cut up one from a trashed two stroke scooter I bought for 20$ a while ago, had some good parts. I cut it down and will continue to shape it and then figure out how to mount it safely without making it look awkward. Turned the motor over tonight and thankfully have 180lbs of compression so that looks good. My wiring job seems good everything works except turn signals but I still haven't tried a new flasher. The lights on the front will be controled by 1. the switch on the battery box which will turn power on to the lower light ( pointing down more) and then the high low beam on the handlebar will operate the upper light ( pointed a little higher) these lights are bright and I wouldn't want to blind any oncoming drivers at night.

Gas tank has been ordered and parts have been slowing coming in. I havent got to much done lately because of work but It's coming along. I had them add a 3/8 npt fitting to the top of the tank because I will be running a fuel pump and will use this as a return. I've seen where the mikuni fuel pumps can be a little to much for the small carb at idle, low speeds.

The only reason I do not like the cvk's well theres a few reasons. I dont like the auto chokes, I like simplicity and don't mind pulling up on the little choke if I have to ( i live in Florida ) so even in winter it is very unlikely I will need it. Everyone says the cvk's are easier to tune but I beg to differ, never liked them.
My 2008 ktm had a keihin fcr 39 and it was one of the easiest things to tune, but also I was thinking if this 37-40hp full mod 250 runs great on a 39mm do I really need even a 30mm to feed a maybe 15hp 150-205cc engine. I think the 28mm will work fine, ill get it tuned it for the stock engine and keep an assortment of needles and jets around to tune as mods happen. If I happen to get into doing a turbo ill look at the EFI system at that point or if I go 232 ill look at a 30-32mm at that time.

Well scooter elements I just ordered a few things from you and I am the one who contacted you on ebay about the 28mm and am about to snatch up the 30mm you have left for the simple reason it's the only sub $100 true oko I can find.
Justin, once I get my funds back up I'm going to be doing a turbo/efi setup from mbe, that's after I get my b cases and 67mm kit.
