There is the line coming from the top of the opening of the carb to the bowl which I have no idea what it is/does then the one on the back which I am taking is a vacuum line?

No. These carburetors use no vacuum. That line running from the top to the bottom is the Power Jet. It is activated at high speed to allow more gasoline to run into the carburetor so you dont lean out. If you dont like it you can block it out by just disconnecting it and putting a screw in the line to plug it up. The OKO carbs i ordered now are all coming with power jets. By Chance did you order that from me? Because the 28mm carbs i have are Black not grey which has me thinking. Since i personally do not ship the parts the guys at the warehouse do. Let me know

Yes it was ordered from you, I ordered the 30mm but you had this in stock. Black would have been cool. But thanks for the help, great carb, and the fast shipping.

Also what is the connection on the back of the carb for? And can I use the screw to tune the power jet or does that simply hold it in?
