Hey!
What is the minimum angle I can run my GY6 at as far as oil draining back to sump properly? This engine will be totally out in the wind-do I still need a fan?
Are 63 cylinders problematic?
+6 cranks?
Where can I find a small quiet muffler?
Thanks

I've seen some people run them at some pretty ridiculous angles but as an exact number I have no clue.
I will be running mine without shrouds or fan, if you are not going to run the fan, removing the shrouds will allow for greater airflow.
I haven't done my 63mm yet but If done properly I don't see why they would be. People run the 67mm with the B cases and 8.2mm stroker cranks for a nice 232cc. I would say invest in a decent kit though, not the 50$ ebay special, then it becomes " you get what you pay for".
The Yoshimura systems sound good and aren't too loud. Look up some clips on youtube for ideas.

Seems to be oil issues when run at high RPM for a while, need for catch cans etc. Maybe too much oil going to head? looks like a big passage. My SV had jets around 1/16 to limit oil. Would a restrictor help this? Ball bearings don't need as much oil as a sleeve bearing.

If you are worried about to much oil in head you could either do the restrictor or tap into the high pressure side of the case and run an oil cooler that runs the oil back into the case. This would lower the pressure slightly and amount of oil going to head, you could just skip the cooler and run a direct line, but cooler is always better.

Small, quiet muffler. You can only get small OR quiet, not both.
