If you cant adj the idle mix screw and get an rpm change then you have a vac leak=bad idle. Do yourself a big favor and add a 4-5" extension between carb and air filter. Can have a slight bend to it if necessary. I made mine out of radiator hose. Will richen mix and blow your mind how much better it will run. Is the hole inside the Uni smaller than the clamp on size=bad. All this works if no vac leak.

Just rebuilt it with a 61mm. 65 mph @ 8k rpm. Runs great. 2K miles. Dropped 30lbs. I thought the head shake was just a scooter thing. When I roll it forward w/engine off I feel a drag at one point. Clutch bell? That should be locked up @ cruise. 1500 clutch springs, 1500 T spring, new belt, really woke it up, ported, 125mj and 38 pilot. If it was smoother it would be a dynamite scoot. Oh, and I added airfoil to intake.

I am getting a growl or vibration at cruise. It is a hunting vibe. I think it is in the CVT. Also a bouncing feel in the front like a head shake. 150 Roketa. Any ideas?

.060 spacer and 2 base gasket per kit. Will my squish be OK with stock head? Piston has a dome that is above cylinder.

This is my 2nd scooter and it smells like there is a dead mouse around the engine area. Smelt it on the 1st scoot. ?

Will a 150 GY6 work without a cooling fan? Engine is completly out in the wind. No stop and go stuff or city riding.

Seems to be oil issues when run at high RPM for a while, need for catch cans etc. Maybe too much oil going to head? looks like a big passage. My SV had jets around 1/16 to limit oil.
Would a restrictor help this? Ball bearings don't need as much oil as a sleeve bearing.

Hey!
What is the minimum angle I can run my GY6 at as far as oil draining back to sump properly?
This engine will be totally out in the wind-do I still need a fan?
Are 63 cylinders problematic?
+6 cranks?
Where can I find a small quiet muffler?

Where can I find a short axle shaft now that I am going mono shock? Any other mods needed with this mod?
