You will notice when you put the case back together if it's enough. Grab the crank and spin it around several turns with your hand and you'll hear and feel if its enough...

Since I didn't want any restrictions in the oil flow I also had to adjust the cylinder base gasket so that it aligned properly with the hole for the oil. I just cut the hole out a little so it match the engine case. Here's an image before adjustment: and after adjusting it: wildswede.se/Baotian/Cylinder/Packning_fixad.jpg

Wilds how much you take out of the oil pump housing? Here's an image of how much I took off when I installed my 3mm stroker crank:

The gasket is stuck down with gasket sealer I cut the piece out this morning. The parts will be in today I may install it this evening will take pics and report progress. I also use gasket sealer! Great to hold the gasket in place and seals everything properly.

I wondered why that piece was there It has nothing under it, it was obvious I had to cut the piece out where the jug sits. Yea, the part in the center of the jug is obvious, but I think there are many that forget/don't know about the other part of the gasket. So I thought it would be good to post a note about it...

There is one part of the engine gasket (highlighted in green) which isn't in contact with the engine case at all, I always cut off that part before mounting the case back together. I have found bits of that part of the gasket in the oil filter after it was broken by the crank shaft. We do not want the flow of oil to be restricted in any way...

gy6racingteam is known for selling lots of fake stuff. they have a huge selection but when it comes down to it lots are fake and misleading. Such as his crankshafts. he says they are forged but they are not. I have the exact same crankshafts he has and they are not forged. His OKO carburetors are fakes and so on. I would love to compare that camshaft to a regular A8 and see if there is a difference. I agree, they sell a lot of fake stuff! I while back I bought the NCY "high performance titanium valve springs" and when I got them they were softer than the original springs. Titanium is lighter than steel / iron and when I control weighed them they were heavier than the original springs, they were also magnetic and Titanium is not magnetic. Would never put them in my engine so I threw them in the trash...

After I splitted the engine and had the crank still sitting on the left engine case. I just screwed the nut back on the crankshaft and gave the the nut a whack with a hammer and the kick starter gear came off easily.

Before you put in the stroker crank I think you will have to grind off a bit material on the crankcase. Att least I had to... BTW, I didn't fell much difference with the A8 cam when I tried it. The best cam I've tried so far is the one which came with this kit: High Performance Tuning cylinder head "V2" big bore 66mm highlink Iv'e so far tried the following cams: Original, A8, A9, A12, A14 and ZV

I'd go with millsc advice: Adjust the valves.

The Taiwanese version would give a slightly lower compression since the valve markings are bigger... The other set comes with a cylinder head.

The connector you found I think should be connected to the switch on the side stand. Black/White is grounded when side stand is down, should also cut the spark to the plug. This might help with the connections of the light switch: Electrical circuit chart

There is a small overlap of the opening times of the valves and the backpressure in the exhaust is causing this. It's normal and OK.
