gy6racingteam is known for selling lots of fake stuff. they have a huge selection but when it comes down to it lots are fake and misleading. Such as his crankshafts. he says they are forged but they are not. I have the exact same crankshafts he has and they are not forged. His OKO carburetors are fakes and so on. I would love to compare that camshaft to a regular A8 and see if there is a difference.

If its different it wouldn't be an a8 camshaft it would be an a9 or a10 exactly. High angle cams are usually the A14 and A15. I dont understand. To me the manufacturer put that just to sell. I am interested tho to see what is so different with it. If you know how to measure them please do.

If its different it wouldn't be an a8 camshaft it would be an a9 or a10 Well..since an A9 cam has 119 degrees of LSA(lobe separation angle) with 5. lift and an A8 has 116 degrees of LSA with 5.50mm lift.. Not sure how an A8 could be advanced angle.. This must mean the angle is greater than an A8's 116 degrees. While only 3 degrees more to make an A9..that 3 degrees makes a big difference along with its extra lift. Soo..saying if you advance the angle of an A8..such as a tiny 3 degrees..you are right..it would be an A9... hmmm The whole idea of a low end torque cam..such as an A8..is that it has a REDUCED LSA... confusing...

why was this thread moved to vendors and dealer specials? there is nothing here that a vendor has put for sale. This is about a camshaft that someone bought from a seller on ebay and we are discussing it.

I while back I bought the NCY "high performance titanium valve springs" and when I got them they were softer than the original springs. Titanium is lighter than steel / iron and when I control weighed them they were heavier than the original springs, they were also magnetic and Titanium is not magnetic. Would never put them in my engine so I threw them in the trash...

That is the issue with them. they put on their description that they are titanium but in reality they are Electroplated with a titanium finish. basically to make it look like titanium. Nothing NCY sells is titanium. Like currently they put up a few pistons and saying they are forged. I know for a fact they are not forged. He creates his own label and puts them on the white box. He is selling a piston that he says is forged but in reality it is not he sells it for about $55.00 or so. Now i carry a real Forged Piston made by Taida which retails for $98.00+
