Actually I think he did take care of it. Things just happen, he did put 10,000 miles on it.

If you are not getting anything out of the bleeder valve you need to figure out why, is it somehow plugged?
A technique I have used is opening the valve with a clear hose on it going into a glass jar then pumping the brake adding fluid into the master cylinder as needed.

I am not worried about what I am in it for, I new the possibilities but my personality is one that makes me always think it will be the easiest thing not the hardest. I still think for about $300.00 in parts I'll have it going.

I got up this morning and started on the scooter, not good news. I pulled the right side cover off and found lots of bits of metal in the oil and on the flywheel. Looks like I have to pull the motor and go through it. There were really big chunks in the oil drain pan.

It has been a while since I had a problem with dieseling, it seems that running too hot, as in coolant temperature, and timing advance being off can also cause it.
If it has a low octane fuel in it try adding a booster or some premium fuel.

Wind shear, it happens. Do you have the 10 inch wheel scooter? I think the larger wheel has less trouble with it, but a light vehicle is just more sensitive to the wind than a larger one is and scooters are about as light as they get.

Well I con't know on W7 on XP depending on my computer I am using, I have to press the Shift key OR the CNTRL key AND the Print Screen/Sys Rq key at the same time. I then open a photo editing software and open a new file then my software has me adjust the size of the new file and I can press the Edit button, scroll down to paste and I have a new photo file that can be cropped to size and modified in any way I want. I use a free program you can download called Gimp, it is close to the equivalent of Photo Shop it does take some learning.
Once you get a photo saved I suggest putting it in a word processing document for printing.

When I was looking for parts for the scooter I got from you I saw a list of weights for the cn250 that went up to 26 grams. The small one was 16 I think. I figured I would try the 20 if I replaced them.
I would think the variator would be interchangable but do not know for sure.
Earl one of the mods here has owned a coouple of them and I bet he would know. JR has the linhai motors in his I think.
