I wanted to take the time to say hi. I'm from Northern Michigan and just bought a Genuine Buddy 50 with a 70cc kit to cruise around with. I'm looking forword to getting back on two wheels as I grew up with mopeds. Also looking forward to spending more time on this site, looks like a good one with lots of info.

Welcome from southeast Michigan. (where it isn't much warmer, but we don't get the snow like you get up north) BTW, I do scooter camping at Cycle-Moore campground in Interlochen... sometimes a couple times a year.

Bandito, that's cool that you make it up to Northern Michigan. Cycle Moore is only about 6-8 miles from my house. looking forward to riding next summer but a little nervous only having a 50cc (70cc). hows the riding in this area?

The most common scooter regret is NOT initially selecting at least a 125cc that is more compatible with traffic. Downside example of "gaming the system" . . something to ponder for others researching.
