So I just bought a roketa Bali 150 a few days ago an it seems to be possibly burning oil but I'm not entirely sure. Here's a little history on the bike , I'm the 2nd owner the first owner bought it brand new drove it for less then 2 months put little over 400 miles on it an didn't like it due to it being a heavy bike so she parked it in her garage an it sat for nearly two years without being used. I bought it brought it home , drained out al the old gas , charged the battery then threw some fresh gas in her an she fired right up. She runs good , idles just fine an has plenty of power but smokes. I checked the engine oil an its fills all the way up to about an inch an a half to the top, which seems like an awful lot of oil but then again I don't know much about these scooters. Could it just be from sitting so long?

Sounds like she was over filled. Drain the engine oil and refill with 700-750ml.

Agree with Joey, don't run it until you drain it and put the correct amount of oil, and overfilled engine can produce too much pressure and blow up

An inch and a half from the top of what ? The top of the dipstick or the top of the oil port ?

I would check your air box to see if it is full of oil !

I would check your air box to see if it is full of oil ! I think geh3333 hit the nail on the head. Sounds like the scooter was overfilled. And since you have the poorly designed emission controlled devices still installed. The overflowing oil was pouring out the top of the engine through the valve cover vent into the airbox. Which made your air filter completely soaked in oil and restrict your airflow. First, change your oil. Next check your air filter. It probably needs to be replaced, cleaned, or just removed for a pod filter. Then remove the emission control stuff. All they are doing is channeling dirty fumes back into the carburetor to be "burned". In reality those fumes are only gumming up the engine and causing an early death.

What exactly is the emission control parts that are not needed? If I go with a pod filter or like a k&n style filter do I have to rejet the carb? Also any clue what motor this has in it, with the countless Chinese scooter meters out there I wanna order some performance parts on ebay but wanna make sure I order for the right motor

Something like "157qmi"

it is going to take you some trial and error to get it right. Use google and watch some videos on it. most of these scooters are a 157QMJ, if you google where to find it you can see videos on that as well.
you can make these to ride so much better than stock, I tried a bit of everything and now I think I know what works... so I can give you my opinion but you are looking to around $700 if you want to gain about 10MPH top speed on flats, and probably gain 20MPH when going up hills.
Once you remove the emission system I would start with upgrading to a: Hoca 30mm Slide carb 50mm UNI filter 30mm NCY intake manifold Exhaust NCY Teflon coated Variator 11 Grams sliders NCY Gen 3 or 4 clutch 1500 Clutch spring SNOWFLAKE Clutch Bell
That should run you around $500
if you then want to take full advantage you get a Taida 61MM big bore kit with matching head. I would advise with forged piston.
just so you know what you are getting your self into.

Possibly gas in the oil is the other alternative. The evap system was never a problem on my Lance and the purge tube with the vent works just fine and does what its suppose to if you drain it at every oil change like your supposed to and keep the valves adjusted. Many people can fill up their purge tube by simply refusing to let the engine warm up sufficiently before leaning in the throttle. A GY6 when the engine is cold can blow a ton of oil out if you take off when the engine is cold and lay on the throttle.
Anyways a two year old bike should not have been ridden at all until after the engine and gear oil was changed along with the brakes flushed. If she just dumped it and stopped riding two years ago without preparing it for long term storage then you have to do all the prep involved with taking a bike out of storage along with take measures to deal with the improper maintenance the bike has potentially received.
It sounds like the bike has been sitting without the break in oil change having been done so that along with the flushes needs to be done. Hopefully the oil ring on the piston has not been broken from riding it overfilled.

i think it's an overfill issue,,,and also being over filled and sitting for that length of time oil seeped past the rings,,,i'd drain pull the screen and clean refill and run her till she gets hot,,,it sometimes takes awhile to burn off the residue,,,
