Hi everyone, do any of you know if the hi performance heads i.e. big valve ,4 valve heads swap from a 157 qmj 150cc to a 1p57qmj 150cc motor?I'd like to up grade but don't know what to look for,I do know the 1p 57qmj is a little different but how different I have no clue.any help would be cool.thanks in advance.

The heads are different between 157 qmj 150cc to a 1p57qmj 150cc. The cam seats have a different heights. Also the 4 valve heads require cam chain be replaces which means splitting the case.

JerryScript I understand that the stock chain can be split but I have read that the 4 valve head have endless chains

If you're replacing it, cut the old one apart with a dremel or hacksaw, temp link them together, pull through, unlink from old, link new, done.
Contact the seller(s) of the new chain to be sure it has a master link. Also, the 1p57qmj has a longer chain, be sure you get the right length.

Hi all, sorry I've been real busy and not been on line for awhile but want to thank you all for the information . one ? do any of you have a recommendation on a parts suppler i.e.4 valve head timing chain ect. thanks in advance.

Hi Guys, thanks for the info. I've used both scrappy dog and gy6 racing and had good luck with both I guess I should give scrappy dog a call and see if they can answer some of my other ?'s about fitment.thanks again for the help. p.s. remember to ride rubber side down and shinny side up.later
