I have read that, in the world of Chinese scoots, Znen is likely to be the best/most consistent manufacturer. It seems that they manufacture for Puma, Motorino, and BMS. Are there any other current scooter brands that are manufactured by Znen?

Wow, that's good to know! I only knew the SSR name. If I were to get a China bike, Znen would be on the top of my list. I hear they are one of the best (That and Ice Bear). That SSR Rowdy 150 was calling my name for some time. Too bad the Honda Big Ruckus had such a short run. Thank China for clones!
It turns out that I could get a used Honda Helix with low miles for the same price (or even cheaper), though. I'm hoping to make the upgrade from my 50cc sometime next year :-).

A Helix would be very nice. I met a guy who got TWO minty 1987 Helix's for $1000!! (where are these deals when I need them!)   |

I have the ssr x6 150 (Zuma clone) and I've been rly happy with it. It's going strong at 3200 miles.

Znen can be spotty with their quality, especially when they start reaching the capacity limit of their factory and then quality can get spotty as they try to keep up. They don't seem to know when to say no we don't have the capacity to make that many bikes in a day and maintain quality.
