Recently, a forum member commented about the USA not being on par with the Asian scooter market.
This reminded me of a Vice News expose from last year.......
Funny how both sides of the pond end up having similar viewpoints for different reasons......
Moped/Scooter riders inherently must deal with a certain type of stigma attached for simply being on 2 wheels.
In the United Kingdom it's a rough and tough teenage racer/ricer tearing up the streets/sidewalks........
In the United States, they are slow traffic annoyances, even when going over the speed limit people wish scooters would use the sidewalk......
In some countries, owning a car is the stigmatized vehicle ( Italy or Taiwan for example) .......
I don't really have a point here, just a social observation of different cultures.....
