I recently visited my local dealership and seen and sat on a Yamaha fz6r. I'm really digging it. And yes I want to keep my majesty. What are your thoughts?

I prefer Hondas but how can you go wrong with a nice looking bike like that?

Doooooo it! If I wasnt a broke student id have a nice sport bike or dual sport in a heartbeat. The yamaha fz09 is freakin awesome....me wants. I like the bolt and new honda cb that looks all old school too. love the triumph scrambler as well. And if money aint a thing the ktm superduke makes me drool. The problem for me wouldnt be if I should buy one, but which bike to buy lol

You have chosen wisely,,,you really can't go wrong with any of the big 4,,,yams can get a little touchy about parts tho,,,i ran yamahas for years and that was my only beef,,,,getting parts,,,it's been a few years now so it may be better now,,,you will be well pleased,,,i run dualsports now ,,but my main rides were sport oriented machines,,,great fun

I wanted one for quite awhile, picked out the Honda CB500F. One Saturday last year I went to the dealer ready to buy. I stood around looking at bikes, mostly the one I wanted for about a 1/2 hr, nobody approached me to ask if I needed any help or had questions so I walked out.... I Still think I want a bike but seem to get enough satisfaction from my scoot to not own one.... I still look at C/L motorcycles everyday and my subscription to 'Bike' magazine has just run out.... I say if YOU can afford it why not?

I don't know if you are riding anything other than the Majesty right now. If not, then certainly go for it. I have a ' FJ1200 sport/touring bike and my 250cc touring scooter. Different bikes for different things, and each a pleasure to be on when I choose it. Some people look at the scooter and ask why I ride it when I have the motorcycle. Better gas milage for the to and fro work commute, easier to handle the stop and go traffic, and sometimes my arthritis is bad enough that I really can't use the clutch. But on the good days off, hitting the hiway on the big bike with a few other riders, and twisting the throttle on the FJ... Good stuff!! And I use one to get parts for the other, as needed..Happy riding...

Real great bike with under 1200 miles for like no money,,,, I love it when a plan comes together

The FZ6 has a very muscular appearance with the four cylinders and exhausts. The FZ07 is faster and lighter, but I prefer the looks and torque of the FZ6. I would commute on the Majesty and take the FZ to motorcycle events and canyon rides. I just don't have the space to park any more vehicles than I currently have.

Just be mindful that if its classified as a sport bike by the insurance companies that you may spend more annually on insurance then you paid for a bargain bike. I have seen some go into shock when their larger displacement touring bikes insurance at $400 a year is 6 time cheaper than the sport bike with the smaller engine. Look into insurance costs before you leap as you might get the shock of your life with a $2,400 + insurance bill.
