I beg to differ. I picked up an exhaust kit for 66 bucks, with a larger diameter header, and a free flow exhaust with a sturdy mount. I wasn't expecting much, but my 150 which wouldn't pass 52 mph stock for some reason now can go 60mph+. Its crazy, I honestly just got it for sound and looks, expecting only very mild performance gains once I put on a uni and upjetted. I haven't even gotten my uni yet and just the exhaust system alone added considerably to my top speed. Maybe my scoot just had the perfect conditions for it to make a difference and these kind of results aren't typical, but it without a doubt helped my top end out, and not just a little bit. I think it all really depends on the scoot, I was pleasantly surprised at my results. The eBay exhausy s did look like junk though with their stockish headers, but the one I found on aliexpress did wonders for me. Once my uni arrives as well I'll see if it makes a difference too.

I said it would Compliment Mods, Especially the Mods you have, and it Did. Did it do all it could do? Not Even Close. I see No R&d on any of these so called Perf, Exh. systems and you can clearly see that in the Product and the Price also Reflects the same. You can Beg to Differ all you want but you do not have a understanding of How a True Performance Exhaust Works. And I'm not going give the Zipps tips on what to do, they will have to pay me.

I have zero mods tho. My scooter was stock. Not just trying to be contrary. You're probably correct in the vast majority of cases but I haven't even put a uni on yet. Everything is stock but the header and exhaust. I duno why my scoot was so slow stock but just the exhaust kit did wonders. I expect it to be even better when I do mod it further. Like I said I think my scoot is just an anomaly, but I'm glad such a cheap exhaust helped me out. No way I'd spend over 100 bucks for an exhaust on such a cheap bike

And I dont claim to know anything about exhausts...but when I put one on a stock scoot and gained 8mph top speed it worked regardless of whether or not I understand why it works.

You must be careful when buying a performance exhaust and header from eBay. I paid between 100-$120 for my HP exhaust from eBay. The header that came with mine was much wider then the stock header. Some of the HP headers are the exact same as stock , but just chromed out. I've had mine for about 4 years now with no issues. Its just like everything else when it comes to eBay, you have to be careful . its best to look around and talk to others before purchasing an exhaust from eBay. This way you know what sellers to use, and which ones to stay away from .

Knowbody will pony up once they've got used to the Junk and its low price. Were getting exactly what we pay for. Junk!

I'm dead jealous of my friend who just bought a used yoshimura setup from his buddy for only a bill. If I had that opportunity I'd go straight for the higher end, they are worth the extra money, I'm just more inclined to make the plunge once I buy a real motorcycle. That way my exhaust won't cost more than the bike and it'll be easier to justify the price haaha
