Although I doubt they do too much, they have the little fan scoops that usually cost like 12 bucks for just over 2 dollars shipped on aliexpress. For that price I had to go for it. they just look kinda neat even if they are a gimmick, and for that cheap who cares! Just had to inform you all, in case you were inclined to waste like 12 bucks

The fan scoop is for the cooling shroud. I don't like the ones they sell because they don't stick out far enough to catch extra air. I like using a 45 degree 4 inch male / female plumbing elbow. Paint it black and it sticks out just far enough to pick up air like a ram air setup , but for cooling. They do help . when riding down the road at , let's say 60mph , you get that wind forced into the fan and into the shroud.

I don't use the little brackets anymore to hold it on . I found a better way to screw it to the fan cover that looks better .

I had to grind the inside of the elbow so it would fit over the part of the fan cover that sticks out. Or you can just cut that part off the fan cover . I ended up just grinding the inside of the elbow and used screws to screw the elbow to the part that sticks out.

Here is a pic from a few years ago , . And this is a little further away . its the same scoot , I just repainted it. . I'm a fan of colored rims and chrome. I like the chrome muffler and swingarm, and the blue and aluminum rim combo. I wonder how your fan would look with that ensemble in chrome, blue chrome, or blue anodized? It would make the whole undercarriage look like one nice long metallic unit peeking out from behind the black lower fairing. Maybe some fancy metallic and/or colored muffler clamps to finish the look. and one of these.. or this one thumbs2.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/m/mYhDmSKzsxTQV30O-1qLZOw.jpg

My darn chrome swingarm broke about a year ago !! One of the muffler mounts broke at the weld and also cracked the swingarm. I had to put the stock one back on . the chrome one was put together like crap. It was very weak.
