There's a venting problem ,,,,thats air rushing into the tank,,,,,,take a very small drill and drill the cap ,,,, problem solved,,, happy day Luckily I have a plethora of Drill bits . Anyways I drilled a hole last night. Rode my scooter to work this morning and it didn't die! Woo Hoo! However it could be a fluke, but I have a feeling this has helped. I will have to see if I get the same results tmrw. This is a common problem on Taotao bikes, crap tank caps. My lancer wouldn't even run for 30 seconds before it was fuel starved when i got it.

Well my problem has been solved. It appears that it was the gas cap. I now have been riding the scooter for 3 days and it has not died once. Thanks for the input guys.
Now to just fix the tire. It is noticeably bumpy at 50 MPH, when I called a scooter shop a while back they suggested Dynabeads? anyone used these?

If so , just get new ones . the stock tire are know for being , well , very cheap unreliable tires.

Kenda's are good tires , by I always buy shinko's . I've never tried any other brand so I cannot really say which is better. I say , as long as you buy a reliable brand , you Should be riding smooth !
