Too many variables to come up with good answer. Maybe that's what Pete and RePete were trying to say above. How and where it's ridden, and state of tune, are big factors. My scooter, with a little over 7,000 miles on it, has more power, and gets better fuel mileage, than ever. (13 fillups this year have averaged .36 mpg) And since I'm still running the original spark plug, cdi, and coil......all still working just fine........gotta believe that this engine is a long, long way, from being worn out.

With regular service with quality parts and fluids i'd put my money on 30-35,000 ringjobs and 65-70,000 full rebuilds which would include lower end bearings and head rebuilds the whole magilla,,,,,depends on how the chassis holds up as well,,,anything after 35,000-40,000 i'd be keeping a very close eye on the frame and all associated parts for signs of fatigue cracks ,,,with religious service i'd expect 120-150,000 total service life,,,then she'd be pretty much done

Damn a 100k plus Chinese scooter would be impressive. a sign of a good mechanic Lol. I'll be pretty happy if mine lasts a good while before I have to get into the guts of it. I ride mine pretty hard though, usually at its upper end and I ride it daily. I hope I can squeeze some good miles out of her. Worst case I have to drop like 300 on a new motor which won't kill me. Great thing is if it does crap out a complete rebuild or swap is faaar cheaper than routine maintenance on a car

HA! I've put over 57 MILLION MILES on my scoot (with regular oil changes) and I'm just breaking it in! My secret is that I sneak in at night while the scoot's asleep and turn the odometer back, so it wakes up everyday thinking it's brand new!

I tried that , but it seems my piston rings would not stay seated.
