Rarely get a glimps of mine from the riding position.

not bad for the Universal 3M Steel Dirtbike - only $78. But a correct I.D. header is important too help performance - 1" I.D. is the said sweet spot for 150cc.
I was looking for a long time before I found one where the pictures showed a good pipe vs the tine welded to larger pipes.
This is what I got, yet to be fitted, but looks and feels nice.

When I got my scooter the heat shield had rusted off, it was Ugly. To help it out I got a sheet of brushed aluminum and created a heat shield/cover for it. I think it improved the looks. When I get home I will take a couple pics and share it.

Sometimes a little dressing is all it takes. On my old scoot a rag with a little chrome polish applied to the heat shield was all it took along with occasionally removing the heat shield, sliding a sheet of cardboard up between the muffler and the rear wheel so you could give it a kiss with some black exhaust paint. Even after it had be welded back together numerous times it was still hardly an item of notice and just blended.
