Are the filaments okay? Are the terminals for the bulb touching the end of the bulb? Pull the light fixture out of the lamp and trace all the wires and make sure none of them look fried, cut up, or disconnected.

What have you tried so far.... I suggest making sure the bulb is good. Sometimes a visual inspection is not good enough to detect a damaged filament and the best test is with another (known to be good) bulb... If your bulb is good, pluck it out and test the socket. To test the socket, put your multi-meter to DC mode, ground the multi-meter to the frame or anywhere you have a good ground (you can even use the socket base itself but it makes working in there difficult) .... Next, with the scooter running and the bulb out of the socket take your positive multi-meter probe and test the two little terminals in the bottom of the base, one at a time. Only one prong/terminal will work at a time. In order to test the other terminal, flick your hi/lo switch... BTW - This will not be conclusive the switch is bad - only an indicator as to where next to start looking. Do what of those test you can then report back with your results.

The filament burned out on my low beam last season. I had to go everywhere with my high beam on just to have a light lol. Try a new bulb as most have said above

That bulb screws into a holder, which in turn goes into the headlight reflective bowl. The holder has 3 pegs that fit into 3 slots in the bowl so it will only go in with the proper orientation. The H4 bulb has the same 3 pegs and is the same diameter, so it fits right into the reflective bowl. The only difference is in the wiring. When you go to ORielly's or Autozone to get your H4, also get a standard plug for that bulb (the clerks there will help you get the correct one). Then snip off the existing plug in your scooter and connect the 3 wires so you now have the H4 plug connected. It just slides onto the blades of the H4 bulb like any normal headlight. And in increase in brightness at night will leave you wishing you had done this a long time ago.

one of the only things you need to be aware of is heat,,,i've heard some stories about melted reflectors,,,i had my worries ,,,and watched mine like a hawk till i saw that there was no problems with the reflector on mine but there was a huge difference in the output,,,the stocker left much to be desired

I had an issue last year where I kept blowing my high beam, turned out my R/R was bad. Replaced it and I haven't had any issues since.
