With efi , it usually has oxygen sensors etc. So just like with many cars , if you let in more air , the computer will adjust the mixture, but I don't know enough about the efi systems on those scoots . hopefully someone else can chime in and give you a better answer.

In theory yes it should adjust itself when you put the bbk on, due to the O2 sensor telling the cpu what the afr is and adjusting accordingly. However I do not have first hand experience with efi on scoots, may have to "reset" the cpu before first start with the bbk but again not saying from experience.

And as for resetting the cpu I don't know if it would be as simple as leaving the battery disconnected for a certain amount of time.

And as for resetting the cpu I don't know if it would be as simple as leaving the battery disconnected for a certain amount of time. Usually you disconnect the ground cable from the battery and turn the ignition on for minute or so, hook the battery back up and give it around 300 miles to recalibrate. How much increase in displacement are we talking about anyway? Most OEM EFI systems will handle a 10% to 20% increase in displacement without increasing the injector size or upping the fuel pressure. If it does not have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator some will just dimple the area where the spring is on the fuel pressure regulator until they get a 0.5 to 1 bar increase if they find the are running lean at high speeds.
