I have a 150cc scooter with engine code 157qmj, but it has a 2-bolt valve cover instead of the normal 4-bolt. Well when I went in to adjust the valves last weekend, as I pulled the cover, a good chunk of the gasket / oil seal broke apart. I did what I could to save it but it's leaking pretty bad at this point. Does anyone have any leads on part number / where I can find this gasket / seal? eBay so far has not been useful. I've attached some pictures in case that helps. Valve Cover by joseb552, on Flickr Valve Cover by joseb552, on Flickr

It would appear scrappydog sells the whole kits, (cover, bolts and gasket) but it's 39.99... If I were you, I would send them an email or call them and ask if you can buy just the gasket.

Sorry bud , I thought the 4 bolt would fit , but I don't think they will .I'll see if I can find one. I posted a site for a gasket but deleted the post since it was for a four bolt.

Actually your 2 bolt head has a different gasket then scrappys 2 bolt head , look at the shape. I bet the regular 4 bolt head gasket will fit yours just fine.

Buy this one with the straight side . I bet it will fit even with the 2 small cruved parts on yours . it will slightly stretch if it has to , and after its on , seal just fine. m.ebay.com/itm/180982882106?nav=SEARCH

yep, that's it. just know that it works so well you'll have to scrape the surface clean every time you remove the cover. it's also slightly difficult to wash off so either wear latex gloves or be careful.

High temp silicon valve cover seal for car engines should work, the red one. Yup,,that or the black one,,put a nice small bead on then let it tack up for a few minutes,,then put it on the motor and just hand tighten the bolts,,let it sit for an hour then snug it down.
