Buy this one with the straight side . I bet it will fit even with the 2 small cruved parts on yours . it will slightly stretch if it has to , and after its on , seal just fine. m.ebay.com/itm/180982882106?nav=SEARCHThanks! I ordered that one and will try it out. I advise you NOT to use the one you purchased. It is way skinnier than yours and will not seal correctly. I have all of these gaskets in my shop and if you attempt to use the one you ordered, I suspect you will have oil leaks. They are way different gaskets. There is only one, 2 bolt valve cover gasket for this type of motor head. I searched on scrappydogs site and they have just gasket for sale. LINK Click that link and scroll down the page. $7.48 You can use the gasket makers as other have suggested but if you don't get it right, you'll have leaks. In addition, it can be messy and removal a pain. The proper gasket is only a few bucks, I suggest get the right item and doing it right the first time... You may save yourself some headache down the road. Good luck either way!  |

The link won't work , at least not for me . the way one that was posted earlier from scrappy had a different angle then his . I figured the one he ordered would work out , but I guess we'll find out. I didn't even think of thickness being an issue .
Let us know how the gasket you ordered turns out.

Thanks, I fixed the link. The one I linked to in the first link is the correct gasket... The angle you're talking about is just an illusion. I would not have provided a link for someone to buy something, if I was taking a guess...Luckily, he only paid 1.99 and it isn't going to break the bank.
The gasket you linked to is for a 4 bolt and it's a very different gasket.

The pic on the first page you posted, is that the same cover and gasket ? It looks different then his .it def looks as if the cover and the gasket has an angled corner. the link you posted is def the right one. |
