How's it going , my dad went in for surgery last Friday for his diverticulitis and after a few complications he is septic and has been slowly getting worse. His kidneys are beginning to lose function and they are debating on opening him up a third time. One of the worse parts it that He was going to have to have the surgery at some point but it wasn't like it had to be done right away. He is 60yrs old and will be 61 in February. He is on a ventilator and has been sedated since Monday. I'm actually a Jr. So his name is the same as mine . George E Huseman .
Any prayers will be very appreciated,

Sorry to hear of your father's health problems, George.
Praying for the Lord's healing of all that is afflicting your Dad, and his return to full health.
Praying for strength and peace for you as your father goes through this time, knowing that not a one of us is promised even another minute and that each heartbeat is a gift.

Thanks for the replies . saturday they opened him up to find his whole lower intestine was dead and leaking. They removed the the lower intestine and cleaned out the cavity. They are keeping him opened up because of swelling and so they can make sure nothing else is going to leak . his kidneys are not functioning properly but have not gotten any worse , however he is still septic and its going to be a process of time. The doctors say the next ten days are critical but they were much more optimistic after the last surgery.

My Wife and I just saw this. We're with you for sure! The Lord said that if two or more agree as to asking ANYTHING in His name, believing when you pray, and you WILL receive it. We're certainly in agreement with you here, for your Dad.
My Wife has been healed by prayer of cancer, and I have been healed of diabetes, glaucoma, total deafness and have been raised from the dead through prayer by the hospital chaplain after 28 minutes of flatline in the hospital. Healing through prayer IS for real. It demands full faith, but it WILL happen when enough belief is there.
You have a lot of good folks here praying in agreement with you!

I will pray for quick recovery and healing of your dear Dad,,in the Name above ALL names Jesus!!!!
I hope he feels better soon,,
I had really bad problems with my stomach/guts back in Sept,,I started taking lots of fermented foods like home made saerkraut,kombutcha,milk kefir all packed with probiotics for your gut health and healing,you can make them yourself cheap and easy!!,,changed up my diet a bit and now i feel like a million bucks,,when your dad gets home maybe tell him about this stuff,,it healed me right up,,i wasn't as bad as your dad but pretty bad...Ive seen people with colon cancer reverse it with the stuff I mentioned,,also been doing raw beet root juice with carrots,celery and apples,,very powerful tonic!!
I give thanks to God for giving us everything we need to stay healthy...

Thanks again from everyone, Just an update , last Thursday they had to open him up again due to bleeding in his abdomin . they removed 4 units of blood that had leaked from an earlier incision and double stitched where it was bleeding. Its now been about three weeks since he went in for his surgery and he is still in the ICU . when he went in he weighed about 175lbs and now he is down to nearly 120lbs , and is barely recognizable. They did take him off of the ventilator at the beginning of the week but he is so weak that he is still unable to walk or even talk. They even have to suck out the mucus from his throat because he is unable to swallow . He was responsive however yesterday he had problems breathing which made his heart rate climb and his breathing was very fast. The docs did a bunch of test to try to find out what was happening but they did not find the reason for this. His breathing and heart rate eventually went back to normal but since this happened he has been unresponsive. So they are doing a ct scan to check his brain . there is a possibility he could have had a stroke . its hard to see him like this especially when he goes in for what should have been a normal laparoscopic surgery and then it turns out like this. He just turned 61 yesterday |

Thankfully the ct scans came back negative ,so he didn't have a stroke. He is also back to being aware and responsive today . they are thinking he was just really wore out yesterday , from his heart rate rising and everything. They still don't know why his heart rate was rising ,but at least he is ok for now. It will be nice when he is able to talk again. |
