Christy is being admitted to the hospital again , we are at alleghany general right now . the shunt she has in her head is not draining properly so they are going to replace it . not sure when exactly because I'm not sure if they will do it over the weekend , unless it happens to be an immediate emergency.

We will all keep praying that the new shunt will drain all that fluid out the right way so she can make a 100% recovery,,in the name of the Fathers Son I pray....Amen

Hoping its just a hormonal thing... I'll def be saying prayers for her and your family. I didn't mention this before , but christy had her very first surgery at the age of twelve . when she went through puberty the hormones must have created a cyst on her brain stem . she mostly had very bad headache . she did have other symptoms but I don't think any sight issues at that time . she is now having sight issues and it is being caused by hydrocephalus " which is a build up of spinal fluid in her brain " she has a shunt that drains the fluid into her abdominal area, but it has stopped working , and that's why they will be changing it in the morning. It involves surgery but its not as bad as it could have been . I hope everything is OK with your daughter , keep us posted.

Guy I just saw this for the first time the other day , I have not posted here because I don't do well with this type subject . I often wonder when it happens and if it is to gauge ones reaction or to allow ones children to see and observe to learn how to react . It seems as if only the good ones suffer the harshest . The truly bad ones go scott free of suffering .
I had no idea what you had on your plate , your in my prayers . Stay strong if not for your self for others around you that need you to be .

John Thank you very much . I know what you mean , its sometimes hard to figure out exactly what and how to say a something . I really appreciate everything. I'm at the hospital right now waiting for Christy to come out of surgery. The last time she had brain surgery , my youngest daughter Victoria was a couple miles away in Childrens hospital having open heart surgery . we have been through a lot over the past 6 yrs , but everything seems to turn out on the good side . prayers do wonders. Thanks , george

Tom from Jersey She had the surgery done this morning , and everything went good . they replaced her shunt , and her eyesight has already started to improve . I really hope the MRI comes back normal for your daughter . I'll keep praying . I'm worried about my little girls , I hope they don't end up with the same issue that christy has . Christy's grandmother had brain tumors that were cancerous. I'm not 100%,sure if she died from them or not .

How's every one doing ? , we have some good news . they released Christy from the hospital Sunday afternoon " kind of soon if u ask me " but she is doing very good , she has a 4inch incision on the top right side of he head in front and one on the top right side closer to the back of her head . I'll be really watching and taken care of her for the next week or two , until we are sure she is ok .
The doctors were going to release my dad this Thursday , but he is still having some pretty strong pains in his stomach and right side, so they first need to find out why this is happening. Thanks again to everyone.

Awesome man!!!! Glad to hear the positive reports,,we got a call today from Kayli's doctor said the MRI was normal,,so thank God!
Sounds like your dad will come around soon,,just need to figure out the cause of the pain,,could very well be just alot of gas,,my dad was nearly hospitalized for gas once..after what your dad went through Im sure its just some nerves that where damaged during surgery,,and they will heal with time..

Not to go off topic for long but hey John,,do you carry a decent throttle handle assembly,,the cheap one I have with my scooter cracked a little today when I was putting a new grip on? It still works but I'm picky and don't like cracked parts on my stuff.I dont need a cable just the twist grip,,anything would be better than the sloppy one it came with. Tom
