You aren't the guy, that was on youtube, who built an Arduino powered laser maze in his garage for Halloween are you?

Welcome aboard! Well you are going to have to get a nice free flow UNI pod air filter and free flow exhaust to go with the BBK as well,,to get the most out of it,,you might want to get a big port head, performance intake, bigger cam,and up jet the carb so the air fuel mix match to a nice tune,,then a coil and CDI as well..after all that you can move to the CVT/clutch area,,hope you have deep pockets..lol..JK
I get my stuff from John here on the site, also gy6 Racing Team on ebay,,Walter from Unique Scooter, and GY6 Racing store out of Denver Carolina. All seem to be good sellers.

Yeah,, That would be great,,do it one part at a time that way we can see how much each part helps wake it up more.. I'm doing a BBK on my 150 hopefully by the end of this week,,i have another thread on it so will try to document my results to the best of my ability,,my scoot is stock block other than the mods you see in my sig,,pretty much all bolt on stuff so far and man did it make a huge difference! Cant imagine what the 60MM BBK is going to do now,,its going to be cool I know that much..lol The biggest gain I noticed was adding the free flow exhaust,UNI filter and up jetting to match the air/fuel mixture..man it was a huge difference from stock...the scoot would barely do 45 MPH,,maybe 50 if i had a tail wind,,now I cruise at 50 and have seen 65 near 70 with a tail wind..Im sure it will be 65-70 MPH with no tail wind after BBK,,I plan on doing a racing NCY clutch and bell,,then upgrading the variator to a smoother racing style. I like to cruise,,so if I can keep my RPM down below 7K Im happy,,the gears and heavy sliders(13g) really help me keep the R's down,,and with the BBK I hope to loaf along at 50 MPH effortlessly Take care bro! Tom

I just purchased the BBK 72cc for my 2014 lazer 5 ssr, so little updated on my mobber a.k.a "moped", I just hit 200miles marker on the brand new just bought 0miles, in two weeks ago when I got it I check every nut, bolt and screw an made sure they were adjusted snugg/tight and been checking the oil mind the drip drop baby leak I have from the shifter main seal for the high to low gear which I worried about and notice the frist 10miles on the mobber so I just used a big socket the size of the whole black metal seal and a hard pin hammer to tap it in then put the shifter nob back on and it made it a bit better but still drips a little not much to worry about I've been checking the oil everyday before and after I ride it's still chilling but drip drops after a ride maybe 2-4 drops on the ground. So after today the 200mile mark I road 10miles at like 7-8k max revs I got to my buddies house and I notice a exhaust manifold stud snapped off idk when cause I had music on while I was riding fuckig trash bolts so I couldn't drill and twist the snapped one out of the manifold so I just re tapped it for one size bigger which let me tell u was a and scary I was affaid of going to much into the caseing and making it at the wrong angel but I got it and put a grandA8 bolt in there and it's bitching tight now mobbed it to test or out for about 5-10miles and it's on point so after all that I thought to myself why not check the whole motor for loose bolts cause u know why not lol..,worst idea frist bolt I checked was the most front bolt on the caseing of the motor on the top part of the motor and It felt snug I turned it one click on my 100tooth ratchet wreck and it stripped I got so mad after having to fix the snapped stud in the exhaust manifold omg so I had to re fucking tap it cause I didn't have a long enough bolt in metric of the same corse by the if mean the thread and size of bolt..so I retapped it to 1/4-20 just like the exhaust which the stock stud it comes with on the manifold is the same as the motor caseing bolt so just one size up in American retapped and I put a longer bolt in a it was easy 1/4inch longer and it worked perfectly even tho I was scared of going to far in with the tap because on the bolt length but it worked great, so I decided not to check for loose bolts till it's Visiable loose or causeing problems and then I will just upgraded them to grade 8 like I have been with the snapped ones from china lol needless to say after about 2-3 hours of fixing those problems which are pretty easy fixes if you have the knowledge and tools which I'm lucky I have just the right amount of tool wish I could afford some better stuff cause my shut tap and bolt puller suck monkeys cock they where like 15bucks I almost broke my tap cause it's so cheap just with one hand lol but now the bike is running great and even with the few minor 10-20dollar fixes I have had I still so far recommaned this bike to anyone can't wait to slap that BBK kit on later on in this week I'll tell you guys the total run throw on how it lays it down and holds ups

You had some wrestling match there. Sorry to hear about the bolts, but glad to hear you knew how to fix them. Where does the BBK help the most on the Lazer? On a CVT scooter, a BBK primarily helps with torque giving you better take off, you get a bit more top end, but it really takes re-gearing to move that torque from take-off to the top end. Curious how it helps on your Lazer.

I'm actually prepping to put the BBK ok today and trust me ahhaha il be test riding it a lot to let u guys know but I don't know if I'm going to change the top end speed yet I wanna see if it helps the take off and how much more torque it will have then we will see if it can still keep the torque with higher end speed but stoked I'm going to slap it on right now

Your not really going to notice any huge improvements until the new rings are broke in,,so give it a few hundred miles and it will come alive even more

itistheride.boards.net/thread/5346/ssr-lazer-5Keep in mind, when you put a BBK on it, to increase the front sprocket to at least a 15T (16t if it fits). It's a cheap way to make it go faster. If I where you, I would do the BBK, then the front sprocket, then fine tune the thing (you can find cheap K&N airfilters, but I doubt you need one on a 50cc 4 stroke, it just doesn't have enough air volume), and exhaust, yet again, I think that the stock exhaust is good enough for even a 125cc bike; at most drill it out a bit (to make it louder); and then reduce the rear sprocket, to where you like the acceleration, and top speed. Those engines make most torque/HP at ~7500k rpm. If you want fastest top speed, on a level ground, and wind still area, you'd be best to keep on decreasing the rear sprocket's size until your revs stop climbing past 7.5-8k RPM in final gear. If the needle sticks around 7.5k rpm, when you're riding WOT, and the speedo climbed very slow you should be getting at least 55MPH with a 75cc BBK, and 42+ with the stock 50cc. With those step-through gearboxes, keep in mind that you could get clutch slip, when doing prolonged rides at WOT, and high gear. For that reason I think it's better to keep a 50cc engine in place... I had clutch slip on my roketa mc05-127 when I changed the overtly large 41t rear sprocket with a 31t sprocket. I should have stayed at 34t on that bike...

BBKs) are from Taiwan, so v good quality ... and obviously hard-to-match prices. I'm in San Diego and free freight from Puerto Rico has been 2 days every time. Only negative is they do not speak good English (Chinese, i think) and are not very good with help. Have to go here or other message boards for that. But the products they sell are great.
