Alright guys and gals, I have a $500 budget for getting the most HP/tq out of a 150cc g6.
Current setup is a stock gy6 engine. Cvt has a larger variator and drive face, hoca clutch and torque sleeve. I have clutch springs already and a yellow contra spring.
What engine, intake, and exhaust parts should I get?
Engine code 1p57qmj, dual shock rear drum brakes.

Use some of the money to convert the brake to disk and then blow the rest at your local "dance" club. Or you could buy one of those cheap ebay bbk kits and a case boring tool.

Since you have a 1P157QMJ You are stuck with a 58.5 BBK Unless you want to bore your engine case to accommodate a larger piston. Now they do sell bolt on kits that include a bored out engine case for around $350. The problem with your budget is that there is only so much you can do to the gy6 for under $500 unless you are prepared to spend more than that. I mean if you just want to spend 500 and no more, ever, then a 58.5 BBK with a high flow head, a performance CDI with a hot ignition coil, and a high flow performance exhaust is about it. Add a uni filter setup and a 26mm carb and intake and your about done. Once you go larger than a 58.5 BBK you have to put an oil cooler on. The cheap ones only hook to your engine's drain plugs and don't really circulate crap. So now you have to look at one that taps into your engine case and hooks to your oil pump. Tiada sells a kit like this that comes with the tapped part of your case for another $350. You could go cheap on the exhaust with an ebay kit and possibly look at a new cam with higher lift and duration. However, you will probably want to put a better exhaust on eventually. I did this and already am not happy with my exhaust. It has less than 500 miles on it an is already turning yellow. If you do go with a cheap kit, be prepared to have to do some "modification" to the exhaust to get it to fit. Also, do not put in a new cam unless you also replace the rocker assembly.Rockers wear to a cam like jean to a fat girl. If you put on a new cam the old rockers might wipe out your lobes.

How many bolts does your valve cover have? Normally the P motors have taller heads and the cam chain has 1 more link than your standard gy6 157 motor. It also has larger valves and larger ports it produces a couple more hp than the standard gy6 motor. Also if the studs measure 3" diagonally the stock 157 parts will fit EXCEPT for the chain. If it measures 3.25 then parts are harder to find for that motor. So saying that any BBK will fit that would fit a standard GY6 some have put in 63bbk in their 1p motors, remember the head is taller (73mm), chain and cam are different on these motors as well. Alleyoop Alleyoop Fore bolt valve cover, unless you count where the EGR bolts To the head also, then its six. I did notice the cam and rockers have an odd one-way bearing setup On them. I will be measuring the jugs inner diameter and head stud spacing soon as I have to put inserts in a stripped exhaust stud hole.

Great, that piping next to the valve cover is the PAIR system held on with 2 bolts do not count just the valve cover bolts. Alleyoop

I wouldn't go over a 60mm where I live. In the summer temps reach the triple digits and can be over 120 or higher a foot off the ground.
I advised the OP, like just about everything I've read, not to go over that large to be on the safe side. He could be riding in Death Valley for all we know.
Alley, thanks for clearing up the 1P thing. Every 60mm kit I've seen says it won't fit the 1p157qmj. I just assumed it has something to do with the cylinder bore being smaller.

Add at least 2 hours over the bbk you have to split the case. Alleyoop

My stud spacing is indeed 3.25", so I should be able to go to a 62 or 63mm bore without crankcase machining? This head does seem larger than a standard gy6 head in terms of flow capacity so I think I'll keep it and my stock cam, and get a stroker crank, bbk, Carb and exhaust.

idk about that engine but I was able to find a "premium power pack" for a 139qmb engine on ebay for $175 consisted off performance head, big bore kit, carburetor, main jet, oil pump, cdi, exhaust and I think thats everything might be forgetting somerthing but I am sure you can find something like that for your engine on ebay the parts I got were also of quality and feels more solid than it did when it was brand new just sharing my experience you have a way different engine your results may be different.

Get the 58.6 bbk " from gy6racingteam" on eBay . Next get a 58.5 head " I got the ncy racing head " . Get an eBay exhaust " some are good others are not so good , just do some research with us . Next if you want more hp don't get any smaller than a 28mm carb . The gains others have had with the 30 and 28mm carbs have been great . I use a 32mm carb and a 125 main jet . And of course you will want a uni filter . You may be able to do all of this for 300 bucks .

Cvt is already maxed out with larger variator, torque sheave, clutch, and performance bell. I'm hoping to be able to get accurate 65Mph outta her. Install will begin today or tomorrow, whenever I have free time.
