Hello All. I ride a 2006 Aprilia Scarabeo 500 GT with ABS, panniers and top box. I commute on good and marginal days from home in Virginia Beach, VA to work at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA - a round trip of over 50 miles. Road trips up to Maryland to visit daughter and fiancée at Lexington Park, MD. Runs great - just came back from trip burning up road at 75 and more most of open road (was following wife who has heavy foot driving her Honda CRV - I like driving more sedately and sanely at 60-65 on non-interstate highways and scenic byways around state and region. Would love to find other touring scooter riders to cruise the region with. Sat or Sun cruise, brunch, sightseeing or just riding because. If your in the Tidewater area get in touch.  |

Chesapeake I ride a Suzuki GZ 250 sold my old 150cc earlier this year. Though can't beat stop and go riding on a scooter.
I just commute 40+ miles a day to work near N.C. line in chesapeake and little trips to the redbox.
