I used my impact to put it on last time and now it will not take it off. It's the cheap impact from harbor freight that so many of us have. Are there any tricks that I can use to get it off.
Thanks, PCB

If you have any other tricks please post invade that doesn't work.

It's a no go at orileys. They didn't have a oil filter wrench big enough. Advanced auto next.

Not sure if yours is rusted or not, but I had a stuck nut on my scoot and a few people provided suggestions here: itistheride.boards.net/thread/5862/rear-wheel-removal-odd-meI ended up using lots of WD-40, chaining my scoot to a car for stability, and used a long wrench with a steel pipe for extra leverage (about 3 feet in total length). Still had to use my full body weight and a bit of jump and kick to get it loose, but it worked. Good luck!

I just got mine off by having a friend sit on the scooter than took a wrench put it on the nut and hit the wrench with a hammer. After a couple of hits it came right off. Do you not have the impact to take it back off with?

sorry just saw it wont take it back off. I did have this problem in the past and at that time i went back to harbor freight tools and got a bigger impact wrench and it took it off.

Thought about it and then just staring thinking about it. I plan on more motor work. The scooter has been sitting outside in the fla sun for two years and looks horrible and it needs tires. Figured just do it all up at once and get it over with.

I just bought an 8 amp craftsmen 1/2 inch electric impact from Sears , I'll never have that problem again . Of course it was $120 , but atleast it works , and I can also use it for the lugnuts on my car .
