I have a question because it appears the motor is not turning over? When you do that is the crank turning? I did not hear the piston going up and down? If so then that big Starting Gear is not grabbing the crank to turn the crank. Because the way the starter is spinning the starter gear should be enough to get the motor to start. Alleyoop

Before it would spin really slow, then it would stop and click, but now it makes that noise in the video and the crank shaft dies not move. I can tutn it by hand though, this is my first issue with this scooter i refuse to throw in the towel lol

I know the video is not the best quality, but does it look like everything is in place? Like the gears matching up?

That is what I thught the STARTER gear the big one that the BENDIX turns is not tight on the crank and is just rotating on the crank. So that take the round restricter Plate in front of it and I would bet you can turn that BIG gear with your hands and the crank will not turn. So if so you need to push that gear back some more tight on the crank. Alleyoop

So the big gear has to be align with the gears that connect to the starter motor?

No I am afraid it is more involved that that. You have the 1E40QMB motor and it has a starter clutch behind the variator. The problem is the Starter clutch is NOT TURNING THE crank. So it appears you need a new starter clutch: Here is a video of your cvt being taken apart and you will the the Starter CLutch behind the Variator. Alleyoop

Theres no way to test it out just to change it? And is it just take out old one and place the new one in? I found a video of a ruckus sounding the same as mine, and they said the same thing you said about the bad starter clutch. So i will buy this and go from here thanks again. I will update on the process

Yea, the clutch works off springs and after you take the old one off you can tear the old one apart and you will see how it works. It has some springs in it which is what goes bad. When it spins to turn the crank it locks then it releases after you let go of the start button and turns freely along with the crank. The same type Starter Clutchs are on the 150s and bigger scoots. Except your lucky yours is on the outside on the 150+ motors they are inside the CASE. Alleyoop

You can put it back together and try it but I think the springs are shot to weak to hold the clutch in the locked position to turn the motor over. If it still won't hold the lock position then just get a new starter clutch. Alleyoop
