HID Upgrade

My scooter has the crappy 35w 6235b headlights and I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of installing HIDs. I have researched but to no avail on anyone giving a step by step on how to do this since there are no HID kits that offer a plug and play for this junk headlight.

Is that the same as the BA20D bulb?
What I've read is that the best option for the Roketa-style scoots is to use the H4 style bulb, then splice H4 connectors into the wiring harness. The H4 bulbs are supposed to fit the scooter housing without any modifications.
Anyone correct me if I'm wrong? I'm planning one of these upgrades in the near future myself...

Yep..the H4 hid bi-xenon bulbs fit the hole in my 2008 Roketa 54B where I took out the old 35w bulb holder. Be sure that the harness and ballasts are the correct ones that go with the H4 bulbs and don't just buy xenon bulbs but get Bi-Xenon bulbs for hi/lo lighting.

I installed H4.....9003.....5000k....35w....Bi-Xenon....Hi/Lo with relays almost 3 yrs ago. I love the light and it was an easy install. 11,000 miles and counting...

How hard was this on your charging system? I see some people say just swap other bulbs for Led and others say you have to revamp the whole system for HID

If you go and read the post of a HID install you will see that the R/R was also upgraded. The Lights and Fan take a lot of juice so if the R/R is not putting out which most Chinese R/Rs do not your charging system will suffer.

Does anyone know off the top of their head what type of bulb is in the tail light and blinkers of my scooter? Its the older style 250 with the U shaped tail light assembly.
