If you haven't done it yet, check your valve adjustment. It is not uncommon for these to come from the factory with the valves too tight. When tight they heat up and expand causing you to lose compression. When you come to a stop they want to stumble and die. Worth looking at.

Do you all think that adding a small amount (6-7ml) of stabil to a tank of gas can cause the scooter to bog? I was riding it today and it was under a half tank and seemed fine, no bogging and I just filled it up with BP octane, still, no bogging and I have not added anymore stabil to the gas.

The too tight valves never caused any problem with me. If anything, over time valve spacing increases, so having the valves tight (but not too tight) just makes sure you'll be riding longer without adjustment.

Hard to believe that I don't have a 9mm wrench... so, I ordered a loose one on eBay. Should be here in 2 days. $1.66 and free shipping for a craftsman wrench. My coil and CDI will also be here soon

I've had over 5,5k km on my tao without valve adjustment, mostly ran at idle or WOT. By around 5k km I heard some ticking in front so I knew I needed to do the valve adjustment, which I will do as soon as my new bike arrives in the shop. In the mean time, I've been riding 500km with ticking valves, though never far. When the engine is hot, it ticks less.

I have that same Cdi on the way. I already have the orange one and the coil but the orange Cdi didn't impress me at all.

Ok, test ride out of the way now. First thing I noticed is that it fired right up with no twisting of the throttle like I normally do, I usually pull it once then grab the brake and push the button when it is cold and I have tried it both ways before this setup and that's why I twist the gas one time... because I have too. Second thing is that I noticed that it is revving a little higher than normal. Being so used to how this scooter sounds when I take off, it was easy to hear the difference. I don't think that it is taking off any faster though... if it is, it is not noticeable to me. It IS climbing hills about 3 mph faster on the speedo. The racing CDI has a green LED on the wires side. Third thing is that it is FOR SURE faster top end WOT on flat ground. On the speedo, easily 5-7mph. At one point it was over the 50mph mark on it but I do know that from previously using my GPS that my speedo is 3-4mph off, not in my favor. I can actually hear and feel the belt change at 45+ on the speedo and it's cool sounding... goes from a humhumhumhum to a huuuUUUUUUUuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmm. Specs now: 1P39QMB 50cc Short Case 10" rims 3.50 x 10 tires DLH Racing variator with 3 - 6g rollers 1,000rpm clutch springs 1,000rpm main spring Stock belt Keihin carb 18+mm Stock air box Racing CDI (Blue) Racing Coil (Orange) NGK C6HSA (Hot Plug) Gap .22 Octane fuel Rare earth magnet in oil drain plug on the steel spring that holds the screen filter two on the outside fore safety Mobil 1 10w40

I had that same CDI, and it worked worse than the stock black CDI I had. The starting was better on mine, the mid range was sloppier, the top end was the same. I went back stock.
I also have the orange cable, but never got to installing it. The orange cable just makes sure your sparks are bigger. If you gap the spark plug to <0.025", there is no benefit on this orange cable. Only when the spark plug starts wearing out, and the gap gets bigger than 0.030", and the engine has trouble getting it to spark, does the orange cable help, as it gives less sparks per second, but they're higher voltage, so the spark can gap bigger distances.
It's way wiser to install an iridium plug, gap it correctly (preferably below 0.025") and get rid of the orange cable. The only thing good about it is that the spark plug cable is of good quality.

Ok, just did my valve adjustment today at 403km on the odometer. It is a good thing too because the valves were adjusted WAY to tight. How tight? Both were adjusted evenly but they were both at the smallest feeler I have which is .0015in!! They are now both at .004in and there is some small valve ticking. I kind of figured there would be but i will live with that over it stalling at traffic lights when it's warmed up. I am thinking the valves will quiet down after a good long WOT run which I am gonna do now.

I actually have seen that... I skipped over it because it looks so different from the factory oil drain plug. Are you sure it will fit the 139QMB 50cc? This is what mine looks like
