Probably a dumb question, but here goes. Where does one buy crush washers for the gear oil bolt. I've read you should change the washer each time you remove the bolt, so that you get a better seal. Also, what size should I be looking for?

It takes a copper flat washer NOT a crush washer. The only crush washer is on the Spark plug. Alleyoop

You could end up going through a couple per month however I inspect mine and replace them when they start getting scored or annually. I usually get a half dozen as they are easy to loose and cost about 99 cents each. www.partsforscooters.com/Crankcase_Drainbolt_washer_qmb139The seapage when the gear lube gets hot is a pain to clean up especially if it gets on your rear brakes and can also lead to soft spots on the rear tire when it drips.
