[replyingto=mwlehman]mwlehman[/replyingto]Aprilia is a damn fine bike. I'd love to get one. Out of curiosity, what's the top end of them un-modified (stock)?

We ride all over here in Cape coral and Ft Myers, her Aprilia had 600 miles 4 weeks ago, mine had 3200 when I bought it , we have 2 VIP scooters also that have 3000 miles each on them, we find we take the Aprilia SR`s out more because they seem to sit a little nicer Attachments:

[replyingto=mwlehman]mwlehman[/replyingto]I am not sure about stock, hers was a fuel injected one I switched over to carbed and it will hit 60 on the dash, I suspect about 55 with GPS,
mine was injected also but now carbed, it is a little slower, I put an aftermarket piston and cylinder on it and it is not as fast as it was with stock stuff.
but...both the VIP Chinese scooters with let the Aprilia SR`s sit in the dust, they really run, they just are not as comfortable to ride

Nice ride! I always wanted to have a partner that would love riding as much as I do. Unfortunately, most women in Miami are either uneducated, or feel themselves too high to be on a scoot.
I understand their mentality is that a car is better than a scoot, and people on a scoot don't have the money for a car. The truth is, that I can afford a car, AND a scoot, so I'm MORE than someone without a scoot! And even if I had a ferrari, and a lamborgini, and a Rolce Royce, I'd still buy and ride a scoot (or a small motorcycle). Nothing like fun on 2 wheels!

EFI is better in every aspect , reliability , performance and MPG . Maybe it is the illusion with the 10 inch wheels on the VIP that make it feel faster since the Aprilias have larger 13s they are way more stable ,
Matt I poked around there did not see a EFI to carb thread

When I get a free few minutes I'll post up a link or two. Matt
