[replyingto=prodigit]prodigit[/replyingto]IMHO, the EVO150 is ugly. I much prefer the look of the ATM150! Nice choice!

The EVO150 is the successor of the ATM150; second version if you will, and looks nearly identical! I guess you don't like the PX150; but the EVO150 = ATM150 in looks (minus some minor differences).

I bet you are absolutely pumped. How far have you gotten? I am assuming these pictures were taken last night. Where did you order these from? I got them from ProvenPowerSports.com, I have been working with William and so far have been happy with the purchase. The are far from perfect. Scratches and missing some hardware. I finally got through the PDI on one of them. Replaced fuel lines, vacuum lines, coil, spark plug, added 12v outlet for gps, changed all the fluids, and lock tite on all the critical bolts. Just have to fine tune the carb and get the tags and insurance. The blue one is for my wife and she road it around the neighborhood for the first time last night. Now I need to start on mine. Our plan is to put them in a trailer and head to Utah for three weeks! Hope to get some miles on them and work out any bugs before then. We are very excited!

I don't know much about the different scooters but I saw that there were a lot of owners that are happy with this scooter. I liked the 13" wheels and I assumed the drivetrain was the same among the 150s.
If I would have known the power max was 50lbs less I would have looked into it further since top speed is a priority for me.
I have owned motorcycles my whole life and my last was 1000cc Yamaha R1
My goal for these scoots are to transport them in a trailer to different destinations an then enjoy the ride... With my wife on her own.
With a 150cc I am hoping to keep up with traffic at 55mph+
I just hope my expectations are not too high.

That fuel line is toast replace it, let's remember fuel sometimes ignites when it leaks... I figured they may last at least a few months but since I have them all a part for PDI I figured I would replace them. Only a few bucks for piece of mind.

Looks almost identical to the EVO150 inside too. Just make sure you mount that horn, before mounting those plating. I got mine stuck inbetween the front fork and the frame, causing me not to be able to turn (I overlooked to mount it)
The EVO150 does 63MPH tops, but a sustained 55MPH is possible. BP Premium fuel gives a tad more performance, and on that, it tops out at 60MPH sustained. I think the ATM-150 should be similar.
The PX150 is a bit slimmer, less body plastic, less weight; but would have benefited you by being more aerodynamic. Top speed on that one is estimated to be <65MPH.

Did you also check the valves in your PDI? They are often too tight right out of the crate. Might save you save you some hassle later on.

I have replaced the valve stems but I have not checked the valves yet but plan to. It runs fine but I have not put all the plastics on because I still need to check the valves and tune the carb.
I have seen several valve adjustment values but need to confirm. I did see a150cc manual in the forum sticky that has the measurements.

Sustained 55mph... Is that stock? Yeah, that's pretty much stock! The TaoTao's that are made after 2012 are pretty well tuned from the factory. Very little room for improvement on them. Quite often putting performance parts on them actually degrades performance, unless you're putting a BBK. I've never had to do a valve adjustment on the EVO150, but a mechanic I know said he had an ATM-150 in the shop with 3k miles on it, with burned valve ends or something. It's only $80 + workhours, but make sure you do a valve adjustment before you hit the road, if the bike is made before 2012.

Sustained 55mph... Is that stock? Yeah, that's pretty much stock! ..... I am confused about the ATM150 vs EVO... My reciept says ATM150-A Evo. Anyways, I took my wife's scooter out last night just around the block and I only got 6000 rpm and 45mph; using the gauge on the scooter. I will need to try GPS to confirm but it surely did not feel any faster than 45mph.
