Does anyone know what the best bbk I should get for my 150cc gy6 powermax without having to bore the block is and what size I should get and from where? I was thinking maybe a 63mm but I'm not really sure. I just want the best bang for my buck and most reliable for around 150 dollars??

It depends on what engine case you have. I believe you wil have to messure the bore in the case first. And I suspect that the biggest cylinder you can use is a 160 cc which is about 61,8 mm in diameter without boring the case. If you already running a 150 cc it would not make much difference changing it to 160 cc!
170 cc has an outer diameter of about 63,5 mm. 175 cc has an outer diameter of about 64,5 mm. 180 cc has an outer diameter of about 65,1 mm.

Biggest you can go is the ncy 61mm has to be the ncy or it won't fit without boring the case I bought a 60mm from scooter elements. Not sure it will make much difference going to 60mm which is 163cc, i just like to take stuff apart and i'd rather have the internals be name brand or taiwan based, i don't trust the china parts that come in these things stock.

My 60mm kits are no boring required. I use it in my daily scooter. alot better than stock. Also my kits come with a coated High Compression Piston for even better performance. I also just got in over the weekend Taida 61mm Big Bore Kits that require no boring. One kit comes with a regular piston the other comes with a forged piston. But these kits are pricey. you can check them all out on my site.

Now I can see a bbk in the future for my Znen.
A Taida BBK for the GY6-B motors would be a nice surprise (there is another thread about performance for -B engines.)

Being a novice what would be the real advantage to putting something like this on my 150cc taotao? It it more reliable or is there actually a difference I would feel? Now I can see a bbk in the future for my Znen. A Taida BBK for the GY6-B motors would be a nice surprise (there is another thread about performance for -B engines.)
