Speaking of Burgmans, one of the issues I have with mine is the seat. It's not that comfortable....for me anyway. Cheeks may vary ;D Anyone have a cheap/good solutions? I know there are those Gel pads that sell for $150.00+...I'm sure they're good, but I'm not looking to spend that much.

I am buying a 2011 Burgie 400 ABS, one owner, 2400 miles, 36 month extended warranty, always garaged and never been down and it looks absolutely brand new! They wanted 6100.00 but after some negotiating, we settled on $5500.00. It's just broken in and I am happy with the purchase. In 2011, I bought a 2008 SYM RV250, almost the exact same scenario, same mileage, for $2000.00. 31,000 is a lot of mileage, but the 400 engine will probably go a lot longer as long as it has been properly maintained. I don't know...maybe pass on this one and keep looking for something with a little less mileage.

Danno, get some of those padded bicycle shorts. If they work for riding those hard little bicycle seats they ought to be great on your Burgman.

I'll trade you even-up for a Q-Link Commuter 250 and I'll even deliver it and pick up the Burgy. (Yeah, didn't think that would fly...)

I found an Airhawk inflatable pad was a complete fix. (I also have a Bearcat backrest, but haven't installed it yet.)

Went for a 300 mile trip with it and there were no issues with a sore butt...;-).
