I'm trying to use that, but I have to make a lot of assumptions based on what it looks like and I'm no expert.

I'm trying to use that, but I have to make a lot of assumptions based on what it looks like and I'm no expert. just read return policy. you will have 30 days to exchange or return. will only be out shipping. i have no other help for you, sry. i'd be guessing based on pics same as you. edit: perhaps you could find the bulbs at an auto parts store. at least then you could see it up close and personal. check their return policy.

I guess I'm afraid of taking a risk because of lack of knowledge.
What's the worst that will happen? They don't fit? They don't turn on? Will it melt a wire or blow a fuse? If it turns on, does that mean it's good?

I emailed superbrightleds.com with the info from this thread. I'll report back on what they say to help everyone else.

Thanks Paul. Can we just plug these in and go? Or are there modifications that need to be done before they can work?

I will let you know when I get them, but they should be plug-n-play since they are lower wattage and support a range of DC voltages.

Thank you so much! I own 2012 taotao powermax VIP. This saves me a lot of time. Except my headlight might be different.
Just so people know you could put any motorcycle or scooter led bulbs connected up to the wires if they didn't fit in the socket. It's pretty simple just connect the two wires. It's one of the easiest mods you can do to your bike. The brake light is 3 wires (one for braking) and there are a lot of Led replacement whole light housing units that are cool.
I love using less power for brighter bulbs. No more flickering, and everyone can see me down the road!

Also for taotao go to their website click parts and it takes you to eagle parts where it tells you some of the light sizes and buy them at the LED site above. Superb right has awesome customer service

FYI: LED turn signals may make your flasher freak out. (It will blink really fast.)

The brake light, turn signals, and running light LEDs were just installed and working perfectly!
Brake light has low/high, and turn signals do not flash too fast! Everything performs as expected.
Will be getting the headlights later this week.

Just replaced the stock bulbs, that's it!
One thing worth noting, if the flasher bulbs were in too far, they didn't work, probably because the contact was past the point, so I turned them on before putting the lens back on to make sure they were in the correct position.
