Just replaced the stock bulbs, that's it! One thing worth noting, if the flasher bulbs were in too far, they didn't work, probably because the contact was past the point, so I turned them on before putting the lens back on to make sure they were in the correct position. that only happens once . The headlights arrived today and work flawlessly! Full brightness, low and high beam! I don't get that dimming with the throttle anymore either.
One issue though, my low/high beam switch seems to be reversed now. Is this an easy fix? Can I remove the switch and reverse some wires?

Most of the bulbs on these bikes will be....1156, 1157 and T10...except the headlights....Always easy to find, especially on eBay..

Can you just flip the switch over? Just a thought...

Can't flip the switch, the bottom is wider than the top, like a trapezoid. Also, couldn't figure out how to open the housing anyway...

On mine...find three wires, one is ground the others are Hi/Lo. Find your ground (mine's green), probably center pin (make sure), give other two wires 4-5 inches, cut, swap, solder and heat shrink. Be sure to use a meter for testing Ground, Hi and Lo......Or , just get used to it being Bass Ackward....

It works! All is good now. Luckily mine had clips and I easily swapped the wires. Thanks for the tip!
