Just thought i would share this. A very cheap way to make a oil catch can for those that have oil blowing through the valve cover vent. 1. get a bottle like one pictured (cost me $1.00 at a beauty supply shop) 2. Get some Oil or fuel line (I am using 1/4" fuel line) $1.50 a foot 3. Stainless Steel Brillo Pads ($0.99 at dollar store) Could not find stainless steel so got the copper ones. 4. Grey Silicone (about $4.00) Drill holes at the bottom of the bottle as much as you can. Take the brillo pads and shove them in the bottle. (usually two) Close it up. Then the spout cut it to get the fuel line to fit inside as pictured. Get some grey silicone and seal it where you put the line inside the bottle. let it sit overnight to cure the silicone Attach the other end of the fuel line to your vent tube and zip tie the can inside your scooter such as the side of your scooter near the frame and done! Oil that usually blows will go into the can and when you are at lower RPMS or scooter is off it will go back into your scooter through the vent tubes. Total spent less than $8.00

which way up are you mounting the bottle? Bottom end up, so oil that does flow into the bottle can drain back?

You can see I used the old filter trick works great so far, plugged the outlet and drilled some holes around the top,,I also cut the vent line from the rear cvt and hung it high.

I don't know much- but use the same filters on my scooter as jerseyboy.. If change regularly, should have no problems. My scooter has been running for 5+ years with no major issues.
