Is $1850.00 USD a good price for a 2003 Honda Reflex with 17,000 miles?

The Reflex is a high quality scooter. 17000 miles is not high for one. 2003 makes it 10 years old. Ask yourself do u want to invest in one 10yrs old. If its in pristine cond you would be ok. As far as the price, it all boils down to 1 question. How much is the scooter worth to you, that's it. Do a little haggling. Be a "picker". Get yourself a real buy if u think u want it!! Barnie

not sure, having 17,000 miles and being 10 years old makes me a little nervous.
That said, I love the yellow color and I had a Big Ruckus in the past so I know a bit about the scooter

I have had reliable Hondas older than that. Don't worry she's a good scoot if she was taken care of

Like I said if it is in really good condition and taken care of its probably ok. Look at the cond/age of battery and tires etc. You don't want to pay a top price and then have to put another 75 bucks in battery and 150 bucks in tires etc. If you have to do that you need to buy it rite or keep looking. In other words if you are somewhat nervous about it then follow your gut feeling, they usually are right. If its dirty and dusty all over then that to me would say if the owner doesn't care about keeping clean etc than they probably didn't care about the rest of it either. Check it out but don't buy it sight unseen. Barnie

Barnie My thought has always been that something is worth it if it makes you happier than having that much money in the bank. When making that calculation you should remember to calculate the happiness that having the scooter now would be over getting a scooter at the "right price" sometime in the future. For example, having a scooter you can use now is better than saving a few hundred dollars to get a scooter in January and then having to wait for the snow to melt before you can use it.

I hardly wash mine but I always do the oil changes. It treats me well. If reg oil changes were done do some haggling and see what you can get it for

I'm thinking a 10 year old scoot, single cylinder, with 17,000 for $1,850 is a bit much. That's alot of miles for a single cylinder (yes, even for a nice Honda). I wouldn't pay over $1,500 (and it would have to run perfect and look good)
